Welcome!

Let me explain what you're seeing. The posts start out with me backtracking a couple of years to tell my story of descending into poor health. First, I wake up one morning with severe, crippling inflammation and am diagnosed with an arthritic condition, "or something like it." Then, a few months later, I'm diagnosed with breast cancer. I retell tales along this journey, often about parenting, and of undergoing chemo, a bilateral mastectomy, and radiation. Next, I share how the brutal story becomes miraculous with the healthy birth of my daughter (and 2nd child.)

I like to reflect and share about all manner of life's oddities and joys, to write and encourage, and hopefully (on my better days) to make you laugh and feel grateful to be alive. Again, welcome.
